So when you get over 78 you are guranteed a position in either arts, science and environments for sure? Are there any cases where a student has got over 78 and applied for access melbourne but didn't get in ?

Thanks

applicants who have applied under "disadvantaged financial background" and/or "from a rural area" are guaranteed places given that they attain at least 78 and meet the course prerequisites
2011: Bachelor of Science (Neuro/Econ) Unimelb
2014: Master of Financial Analysis/Master Professional Accounting, La Trobe
2015: Master of Management (Finance) Unimelb

Private VCE tuition

Assuming you apply under rural background/financial disadvantage. You must pass all the prerequisites (inclusive of English) and then it is definitely guaranteed.
