It was impossible to get a top ten - there were like five people tied for 8th - so now there's a top 12!

Remember, you are voting for who you think is the most helpful person on VN.

Voting closes in 5 days from today - i.e. this time next Wednesday, 22 December

1st prize is $100, 2nd prize $50, 3rd prize is $30 in the form of Borders book vouchers.

There will also be a Staff's choice prize of $70 handed out after the process to decide the MVP is finished to reward someone who didn't get an MVP prize but we still felt was deserving of some recognition for their effort.

This is just a small token of my appreciation for how much I respect and admire you guys for making this community as fantastic as it is. I want to give back to the people who give the most and I know you guys do, because they deserve it! Let the nominations begin!

Just wanna add a proviso to those on the shortlist: obviously if you win you'll need to give me your real name and address so I can mail the voucher to you. If you don't want to do that, please PM me and I'll take your name off the list.
