Just want to know how to put in internal hyperlinks in threads - like making links to posts in the same thread? Similar to what's been done with the English Work Examples Directory? Thanks.

If you want to link to a post, you click on the post title, if that makes any sense. The link above the time-stamp.
EG, link to your post (above): http://vce.atarnotes.com/forum/index.php/topic,35538.msg379117.html#msg379117
Is that what you wanted?

    Does "internal hyperlinks" mean contriving a word which, if you click on it, leads you to an article/video/whatever?

No, it links to an anchor on the same page

 Ok. Is it easy to do what I described: contrive *these words* such that when you click on them, they lead you to another page? (Rather than the clunkier option of cutting and pasting a url.)

Yes. Use url tags as such

Code: [Select]
[url=www.google.com]CLICK HERE FOR GOOGLE[/url]

Replace the address inside the tags with whatever you want to link to and the text outside the tags with whatever you want to hyperlink
