Total was around 40-50? I did more Exam 1s than Exam 2s, because I saved paper that way (just read the questions of the computer and noted down the M/C answer).

It was probably way more than I needed to do, but I had the entire year to do them, so I did as many as I could in the given time. I also completed all the study guides prior to doing exams.

i am doing further next year and i wanted to know what people did in their summer holidays to prepare themselves to get a high study score in the further maths. my school is using the Cambridge essential further maths textbook

Hi, you might find this helpful for your summer study- http://www.vcefurthermaths.com I've been a further maths tutor for a few years so I put together some free tutoring videos to share some of my knowledge and help out students. If you want help with any specific questions from your book while you're still on holidays, I'm happy to answer them for you in a scribblar session (an online interactive whiteboard thingy... handy for tutoring people remotely) just send me an email [email protected] happy to help. Good to see you're keen to get a head start on it!
Good luck with your VCE!
Cheers

So your best plan of action, is to do whatever exercises from your textbook, necessary then spend the rest of the *year* practising exam questions?

I love the fact that it's easy, but I hate the fact that my teacher marks the roll, if not i'd be better off studying for another subject.

I wouldn't recommend finishing the book over the holidays, just take it easy, there's no need to rush, I didn't rush any of my subjects, and I didn't do badly in any of them :)
