You can only have one major as it stands right now. I had a chat about getting credit for a double major and it's something they're considering for the future (but it will only be possible for a few select majors).

You can only choose one major, which consists of 4 subjects at third year level (but you have to take second year subjects to qualify for the major). So if you wanted to do HSF, you'd need to do anatomy in second year to be able to major in it in third year.

You MUST do 4 breadth subjects and have the option of doing another two if you wish - if you want, you can do another two science subjects instead. Typically this will happen in third year, but it can be in first or second year if you really want.

Here you go.

Just for the record, you don't need to make any of these decisions until the end of next year. Basically you must do the first two subjects and then you can pick any 2 from the next list. It's important to make sure that you meet the prereqs for the subjects or you can't do them/the major

Good luck if you choose neuro, it's a brutal major

Learning neuron structure and function in detail is hard. Oh so hard. If you love it, you can probably deal with it but it's a lot of work :(

I considered the major, looked at my work ethic and scratched it

Microbiology, Infection and Immunology

So far it's been pretty good, but the majority of the major is this year coming (2011)

I was so happy when I found out. The worst bit is that all the viruses are so similar because they're all Human [name] Virus.

Mixed up information for HPV/HSV/HIV etc. so many times :'(
