We're on VN a lot because (although we may not realise it) we don't want to be alone. We want company. We humans are social animals. We want each other. We want to know that other people care about us, that other people are concerned about us. We want to assure ourselves that we belong in this world. That, to me, is the reason why VN, MSN, FB and the like are so addictive.

Definitely! I never said it wasn't! Having said that though, VN does allow for a sense of community and belonging.

yeah i want a life too.. lol... but reality is.. we have to work hard all our lives until we're old and unable to move or do anything (so much for enjoying life) >.> unless you somehow become really successful in the early years of your life
