I did the calculations myself and I have no idea how you got 39.
A+ cutoff was 94/120. 7 % of people get A+ or above. 40'+ is 8-9% of the state. If three 8's made 96 then you are two marks over what was needed for top 7%. Wouldn't that yield at least 40... if you presumed SACs were A+.

The way we always worked it out was 58/60 on the exam could get you 50, then for every 1 point less than that on the exam, it'd be 1 less on the study score. So a 24/30 = 48/60 is 10 less than a 58/60, and so 10 less than a 50 in English = expected study score of around 40.

Mind you, that was just a really rought way of working it out...

I was thinking and normally the A+ for SACs incorporates far more than the 8-9% of the state that achieve 40+. Therefore a final moderated low A+ for SACs may actually be a lot more (assume equal weighting for all GAs; so I'm mainly referring to science and maths actually) damaging to one's study score than a low A+ for an exam.

Meh, you're probably right. I was just told that a lowish A+ on the exam would get you around 39 if your SAC's were decent. But if only 7% got A+ then most likely 96/120 will be atleast 40 possibly afew more.

Also may i ask, what would you all suggest that an A+ A+ and a low A would get in legal studies?

I guess it depends how high the A+'s are... If they were all really high, then the first scenario would get you around 40-42. The second, easily 45+, maybe even 48. Good luck with everything, I'm sure you will go fine!
