Depends on your school. I got A+s in four SACs and As in the other two. I was ranked in the top ten out of the 150 or so people doing English at my school, probably somewhere around 6th or 7th. But my school usually does really well in English - 4 people got 50 in my year, and 7 people in both 2004 and 2005.

any opinions for english:
these are my sac marks for unit 3: 76 and for unit 4 ive only got one back and got 48/50 and in the other one im hoping for a similar mark.
if i get an A to A+ in the exam, what sort of study score am i looking at?
the first sac of the year left me with no hope with a score of 12/30, however i have since improved getting 48/50 for my second text response lol.
im aiming for 38 and above do u think this is possible?

Should comfortably get a 70 with those marks.

Approximate SS's would look something like:

Health - 36/39 (depending on how high your A+'s are)

Geography - 32

Legal - 33/34

English - 30

Meh they're pretty rough but if you need 70 you should get that with those scores fairly easily.

English - 30

??? I would say well under 30 with C's.

English
Unit 3 c+
Unit 4 c
Hopefully c+ in exam

Unit 3: bottom 30%
Unit 4: bottom 15%
Exam: Top 40%

Last year, I got C, B+, B+, and I only got  30. I think only C's is more around the 25 region to be safe.

Hey guys

I was just wondering what the cutoff for an A,B and C for the English exam was last year. If the exam is marked out of 20 for each section, what would I get if i got a 15 or 16/20 for each section in terms of A's,B's and C's.

Cheers

15 for each is 90/120 which is mid A, 16 for each is 96/120 which is low A+.

For Physical Education, what would my study score be ...

A+ on every SAC for both semesters, all 95%+, don't know exact marks or rankings(the teachers don't tell us, some policy thing) but I would be number 1 i'd say, goto mhs as well.

If I was to get a low A+? mid A+? high A+? on the exam, what would my study score be looking at?

Low A+...high 30's
Mid A+...low 40's
High A+...45 or more

Roughly.

Ur SACs should get scaled up to 100% (no. 1 ranking + MHS is enough). I reckon with an A+ you would expect at least 42 (I'm assuming there's 50-50 weightage), if you just make the cut-off maybe 40. Really high A+ should get you 47+.

If the 1st ranking exam from the MHS cohort is full-score, then it is likely that the SAC will be moderated to 100% also. But if he achieved, say, a low A+, and that was the highest exam score at MHS, his SACs will be moderated to approximately a low A+ also.
