He didn't tell you the monday/tuesday chem session cos they always get packed to the rafters, and thurs/fri is like a ghost town. It's 4:30-6:30 just incase you can't make those. Then methods is straight afterwards at 6:45

About his jokes, you'll get sick of hearing the same ones at your 2nd lesson. Recycled.

Oh, and if you're unlucky and he knows your name, you'll be asked to answer questions every 2 minutes.

LOL this is so true. Jokes got old and weren't even funny anymore, lessons ended up being pretty much 1.5 hours at best, with his repetitive jokes, breaks, late starts and early finishes.

But his tutoring i wouldn't say is the best. Its good if you struggle to understand concepts or lose motivation easily when studying. But if you are seriously aiming for like a 50, he probably won't help much. Don't know why people are saying notes aren't that great. Its so much more convenient to look through Jacks summarised notes, then to flip through the textbook.

Then he blames it on the class.

I was forced to go to Jack's back in 2007 for chemistry and methods. I was never too keen on the tutoring and I found it so crap (i fell asleep in most of the classes :O ).
I once told my Dad that I didn't want to go to his classes anymore because they were so crap and that I didn't learn much...  And my Dad actually called up Jack and told him this >.<
And Jack confronted me about it the next time I went to his class......... Argh

From "He is a very good tutor. he will teach you the foundations and provide you with great notes.
If you live nearby, then i would recommend you going to him."

"He says you will finish the Methods course in July, as i recall the 2010 class did not finish it by july, more like september if i recall correctly."

to "'I thought you were good, but i was wrong'"

in less than 2 weeks.
