Sorry deleted my post before coz i thought i got but i am confused now.

I connect my TI-89 to the comp but nothing comes up?

It says "To install the program, make sure you have TI Connect installed on your computer. Connect the calculator with the USB cable [that came with the calculator], open TI-Connect, and drag the file from Windows Explorer to the TI Connect main window."

But when i connect nothing comes up in my computer

Okay another problem, I installed the TI connect but when its looking for calcs... mine doesn't show up. It says "cannot find device". Ive got the usb plugged in fine, anyone help?

EDIT: nvm fixed it.

ok i saw it in var-link.
i clicked on it and it goes to my home page for normal working (eg. 3+4=7)
and it says " eulert(   "

Close the brackets and hit enter. It should work then.

dy/dx
im guessing here that i type the differential equations, in any specific way?

then after it gives me x initial y initial, self explanatory what to put here.

next, is writes dx. i dont know wat to put here.... help!?

then, step, step size.

if u can provide me with an example it would be nice   much appreciated.
