VCE Psychology isn't a prerequisite for University Psychology.

On this note, does anyone know anything about the changes in 2012 to some 'higher education subject' thing?

@Pixon: Wow, you impress me a lot as well. Haha!
That is true.
And thank you!
By the way: this is off topic, but what happens if I don't get the score I need anyway?
Haha thanks!
What do you mean? What is the score that you need?

I mean, ATAR score.. I need 81-85 to get into the course I want (they're scores from diff unis).
So if I don't get that score, what the heck happens to me? Do I become a hobo on the streets? :P Haha!
I'm not entirely sure, but there's always:
-2nd round/middle band offers
-Doing another (similar) course in the same uni and applying to transfer the following year.
-Have a plan b. :P

Well.. I'll just worry about that IF/WHEN it comes around (hopefully that's a HUGE if!) :P

No of course not! There are other courses you can take, and if you are really insistent on getting into the course you want now, just work hard and you'll get into it later. If you don't get the score you need, it would only be a slight detour from what you really want. This is Australia... you can basically get wherever you want if you apply yourself properly.

And yeh..what Menang said :P
ATAR: 99.90
2010 - Classical Studies [45] - Mathematical Methods CAS [50 + Premier's]
2011 - English [49] - Specialist Mathematics [LOL]- Latin [LOL] - Chemistry [LOL] - UMEP Mathematics[LOL]

2012-2018 - UoM: Biomedicine, Chancellor's Scholars + Doctor of Medicine

Need English/Maths/Classics Tutoring? Feel free to PM me. :)

I announce Pixon as my spiritual VN heir! >.>

Thank you everyone so much for your help!
But I think instead of repeating Psych, I'm going to do Business Management instead. I did do it last year, but didn't choose it this year because the work seemed really simple - hence boring me :buck2:
I didn't hate it, but I'll make more of an effort to tell myself I like it this year! Also wanting to do business in the degree I'm doing in uni.. Well, yeah :S

Yeah i think doing business wouldnt be a bad idea. It would fit in nicely with what you want to do. I was considering business as well for a while but decided against it for spesh xD
I reckon your better off not repeating a subject, especially if you can get an awesome score in bus man :)

Also if you're hoping for Further to be in your top 4 i.e. get higher than 40, then dont get cocky and think it's an easy 40. There is no such thing as an  easy 40 unless you're an absolute genius..... To get a 40 in those 'easier' subjects you still have to study and work hard, afterall you will be competing against hundreds of other capable students who think that they will be able to achieve an easy 40 as well :S

Yeah definitely. I was doing Methods last year, but dropped it mid-year because it was way too hard for me. Going into General, I thought "Oh yeah, gonna be a breeze!" .. I got about 70% on my first test on measurement -.- haha! So then I studied harder and was getting top marks after that. I definitely know not to slack off, ever. At least I learnt from Year 11 mistakes :P

And thanks for your support on BusMan!
