I've tried that, it doesn't work for me (usually too crowded). :(

The only thing I can do on trains are
~Listening to podcasts
~Reading Lit novels (or my rens textbook, which is really quite tiny).
~Using flashcards.

Yup, but all I can do is read. I can't do work, or take notes
I used to listen to Douchy heaps and read random sections of Nature in the train last year

^^ I also listened to Unit 4 Douchy!  (he said you were thuzan...)

I also read and I even finished a few chapters of Maths Quest (I made a 4-seater my study desk!)

Luckily for me, the Werribee line is so empty and quiet. I think there are only 2 MHS year 12s on my line next year (including myself)  :o The other guy is shown here (*facepalm*) -its pretty funny though (and thats not the MHS uniform btw, its the Werribee Secondary one)

I can never study properly on public transport, only skim over notes that I've written that day or the day before.

Yes, I study on the train...it's quiet and empty enough to be comfortably seated with a pen in one hand a notebook in another. I can only ever write essays, go over flashcards and read books. Doing questions from books is hard, especially if it's maths. It's only doable if you can use the calculator single handed.

Tram is too crowded and can get stuffy in the summer.

I find it hard to study on any form of public transport. I rarely do it; it's always packed on the tram when I get on. Though last year, I listened to my Latin teacher reciting some Latin poem that we had recite back the following day on the tram. It was an audio bite and I listened to that on repeat, since I had nothing better to do. It was about "Catullus" for those interested; it didn't help either, the quality of the bite was sooo poor and the tram was packed. Though, the car sometimes works for me; reading over notes/novel and so on.

English Language flash cards on trains, English books on buses :3

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

I can't study on public transport. It's either too loud/crowded, or i find that the rocking motion of the bus and (especially) the train lulls me to sleeeeeeeepppp- and then i crack my head against the window. T_T
