Some questions regarding uni courses

Well i've been doing some further research into the uni courses that i have an intrest and i have a few questions.

Science/Law:
If i decided to do this and wanted to become an environmental lawyer, then would i have to do furhter studies for Law - get an honours/masters degree?

Engineering/Commerce:
After reading a few old threads on this, is there really any benefits in doing the Commerce? Would it really help, if you wanted a management role? You would sacrifice a year or so to complete the double degree, but in that time you may be able to develop management skills in the workforce.

Eugh... There are so many courses that i have an intrest in. So many to choose from...

A Commerce degree doesn't develop management skills - with a management major you learn about management, not how to manage. It's not like a Commerce degree will move you up into management automatically. Perhaps an MBA in the future would be more suitable. What it will do is give you skills in a Commerce area i.e if you do a finance degree you can go for roles in finance etc.

What kind of engineering are you interested in??

Commerce has the most synergy with chemical engineering imo.

For the science/law and being an evironmental laywer, I would say it would depend on what uni you are going to attend. Some might offer it in their science degree as an option whereas some may not. Good to know that you are planning now and have a wide of options of what you want to do.

I would be doing these courses at Monash Clayton. With science/law i noticed that you can major in enivronmental studies or whatever it is for both science and law. Would that be the way to go?
And yes atm my intrest for engineering is in chemical. Civil and aerospace seem pretty cool as well.
Also wouldn't Eng/Sci compliment each other much better for chemical engineering if i major in maths or chem?
