What's the point of going to Uni at such a young age though? If anything, I would wait until I was older.

He's also one of the very special cases in being allowed to do two uni subjects. How I envy him...
(EZ may have seen him get his ENTER, but I got to him 5 minutes later!!!)
Anyways...we've gone off topic. :)

pi being one of the only people i know personally, naturally I think he will.

I don't think pi can even get 99.95 after his 42 in Bio?

Feel free to corrct me....

Personally, Thusthan is a safe-bet.

Ahh.. you can still get a 99.95 with a 42 in the bottom 2. Mind you, a 42 is a bloody good score. pi definitely has a chance at cracking a perfect ATAR.. he got a 42 in Bio and he didn't even try..

TO be honest, I simply don't think he'll get a 99.95. Wish him all the best, but I think realistically, the smart bet is Thusthan, already 2 50's, if a 42 is good, what's 2 50's in year 11?

Don't be so negative.. there will be more than one Dux. 99.95 ATAR students don't get 50s for every single subject. There is likely to be one (or even two) subjects that they will do comparatively lower in. Thushan's 50s in Biology and Methods may be his/her strengths. Maybe we are yet to see pi's or any other member's strengths. So yeah, don't judge until VCE is all over and results are out!

Try to keep in mind you're talking about a student here, not just a bunch of numbers. There's no reason why any student here can't go on and achieve the best they can, including pi with a perfect score.

2011 - English, English Language, Philosophy, Indonesian SL, Outdoor and Environmental Studies.

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

Werdna, you yourself have a great chance also. I guess you have to treat methods nicely though ;p

Exactly. Romperait will definitely do well this year, and who knows, he may even crack the 99.95. He's already got 2 40+ scores under his belt. Just to clarify, Bonifacio, you don't need 6 50s to get a 99.95.

Werdna, you yourself have a great chance also. I guess you have to treat methods nicely though ;p

onur369.. I'm all for supporting other members, but I'm not going to be supporting myself on this front LOL (I only voted for myself for the fun of it). I've got no chance in hell of getting a 99.95. Oh and I'm not repeating Methods.. I've decided to settle with my dismal 31 (scaled). ;D

I played around with the ATAR calculator, and a 99.95 is actually still achievable with that Methods score in there. But I reiterate, there is no way I'm gonna get anywhere near that high an ATAR.  ;D

It is VERY rare that a 99.95 gets their score without Spec/language/Uni subject.

Which is why i admire EZ more than most 99.95ers :P

How do you do VCE in year 9?! (Or is this the same guy that we were talking about in the previous page, Thor Taylor?)

It's funny people are bringing up Romperait. I know him personally and I have a lot of confidence in him because he has such a strong drive and motivation to do well. And everyone knows, hard work usually adds up to a big score, especially as VCE rewards such people.
