Mmm...just remember that your average is calculated based on the subject's level, not what year you do them in.

not for medicine, it's counted in the year you did it.

Really? Typical medicine, can't do anything normally, lol.
Would the GPA review influence the approach med admissions take?  Either way it would be best to conserve breadth I suppose.

The GPA review is being carried out specifically for med admission, if they decided to make changes it will be just for med

So in anticipation of this what would be best, save most breadth, bc I have in first yr 2 chem 2 bio 1 physics, and still not having chosen my major there arent any prereqs for any I can fill in 1st yr, so I have 3 subjects left to fill.

There's no information on what changes (if any) will be made. Just do 1 breadth per semester as normal

haha nahh too risky and too much work required (like extra work and throughout feb to get ahead), so just going with linguistics subjects instead since i find it interesting and it's not that hard to do well :)

do 'the secret life of language' ! it's all problem-solving (no essays) and very similar to EL, similar with 'intercultural communication' - it's what the linguistics enhancements do, and say its the same as EL !! So will be doing :)

^ yeah, that is what I was thinking too.

I'll most likely do that and Grammar of English this year, and see how they go.

Next year I could continue with it, or maybe do some unibreadth subjects.  :)

Just noticed this: https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2011/AGRI10041

Wine tasting in a breadth subject! Could get messy..

Heaps of my friends have done that. You basically camp up at dookie for a week and learn about wine. There's a practical (tasting) exam, followed immediately by a theory exam. Of course most people don't spit the wine out at the practical exam, so they're a bit on the tipsy side for the theory exam. :P

It's the subject with the highest failure rate apparently, because you get everyone going just for the wine tasting
