I have a tute listed as being at: Berkeley St 228. Does anyone know if this is inside one of the buildings like the spot building?

Otherwise I will probably end up walking up and down Berkeley St a hundred times looking for it.

Dunno. It'll be 228 Berkeley Street, so just follow the street numbers.

Every lecturer. The Rivett just makes lecturers angry, I swear.

Not Hyam Rubenstein.  But looking at the picture you'd think otherwise haha :P

Hm, I've got a chemistry prac on 10am mondays, do I go to that? I mean, I can't have a prac then can I? Do I just go to my next class?

Also, will I be affected too much if I miss the first lecture for a subject?

I've heard chem pracs start first week.

First lecture isn't very important.

On the LMS for Biology, it says we need to refer to our 'Workbook' for these test things we have due soon.. I don't have a workbook, as i bought the main textbook secondhand.. So where do i get one from, the main bookshop? Or is it something we get later..

The bio workbook is in the bookshop. It's ~$26 and I thought it would come with coverslips, slips and a permanent marker but apparently not.

There's only 2 chem prac classes that start in the first week. There was an e-mail that said it was only Groups 1 + 2 but then it mentioned Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning pracs.

Chem pracs started first week last year from memory, but it depends what group you're in. If you look in the Laboratory manual, it'll have what groups have pracs in what weeks. Groups are probably up on the noticeboard in the Chem building.

Yep, I saw the group allocations for science on the noticeboard in the chem building. Maybe try calling the place tomorrow and ask them to check bomb? I'm not sure if they'll be open but it's worth a shot.

The slides + coverslips + marker are right next to where the bio prac book is sold in the bookshop. They are sold separately for 8 bucks which is annoying cos it said that 26 was for the whole pack! Also, don't forget to show your union sticker at the bookshop I only remembered after I'd already bought it all :( They obviously don't want to remind you at the bookshop...stingy bastards.

Haha you guys have to get the slides and coverslips? When I did first year biology, they were provided for free :P Probably heaps of students like me were hopeless at cutting plants sandwiched between carrots preserved in 50% vinegar solution and wasting so many slides so they decided not to supply anymore ;D

Oh and the group allocations may have been posted on the LMS as well. If not, you'll have to go check and hope it's not on Monday morning.

The stupid lady said that I couldn't get a discount because it was already 10% off. :(
I'm going back on Monday to fix that, then.

Groups aren't in LMS :'(

I'll need to call tomorrow? Does this mean I'm going to have to get my lab coat/safety glasses tomorrow if I am in G1/G2?

And student union members, how much did the Calc book cost you?
