8am starts are the best! (not sarcasm)
Whee, I have a compulsory (for my major) two-hour research methods/stats lecture 8AM EVERY MONDAY. Followed by a prac for the same subject at 10am. Best ever.

Aw, I have no subjects with you anymore. :( Remember when we tricked Edmund into sitting on broken lecture seats for the whole semester?

Good times.
It wasn't broken. It was 'pulled down' by default.

BROKEN.

It wasn't broken.  It was having "technical difficulties" in which Edmund inadvertently encountered.

The only way around it is to move the Chem prac to a thursday, and the Bio prac to a Tuesday.

But the Bio prac is full.  It says to wait until Feb 21 for more spots.

People may move out of it before then, depends on how desirable the spot is. Just keep checking every day and see what happens.

In terms of your decision, going to the lectures outside the stream is possible but it's up to you whether the downsides outweigh the positives.

And to whoever asked, biochem lectures are recorded yes (or they were for my year)

What are the downsides and how manageable are they?

I can only change if that Bio prac frees up, and even then I am not keen.  It will put me at Uni from 9 til 4 or 5 everyday.

I am the type of person who benefits immensely from study days.  I had 2 every week last year.

Even if I go to linguistics lectures, I will still have like half days to get work done.

I have always been a 'cram as many contact hours into as little time as possible' type of person lol.

I just don't want to spend ages there and eat craploads and never do work.  I hardly ever did any work at school.  :/

Pretty happy with it

Mine is really similar to yours. My monday is the same with physics instead of informatics. We have two esd lectures together and the same calc stream. Day off thursday as well.

I hardly ever did any work at school.  :/

It shows in your really poor Atar score :P

My reasoning is that I simply cannot be bother traveling over an hour each way to get to uni, If I can minimize the trips I'm happy!

I also know that if I had large breaks in the day I'd sign up to the gym and spend my breaks there.

Sooo expensive :(

The positive is you get to keep your timetable free. The downside is your lectures will be out of sync and you'll have to fill in the gaps yourself, which may or may not be difficult. I don't think it's a big deal but it might be a bit of a pain.

Hey guys.

So atm i can't enrol in most of my subjects as i obviously left it too late for the first release of places, but I have planned out what my best timetable would look like. I know the rest of the places are released on the 21st, but has anyone got any idea as to what time that day so I can ensure I get the timetable i want?

Cheers

Enrolling in subjects has nothing to do with the timetable, you can do that now (you can also register in classes now, if they're not full)

I think foley does mean register in them, and I have the same problem because of my irregular offer, so don't freak out :3
It is most likely 10am that day, as with the last round.  But I would check at 9am to be safe.  If it's not 12am it won't be before 9am :)
