Apparently the uni decided to put the sanctions back on so students who went to AAD2/ISB to get the sanctions removed, got them again   You need to go to the Student Centre to get it removed again and I suggest getting there at 9am (or as soon as it opens on Monday)

Oh come on! r u serious :( :( cant i simply call em??
Yeh you can. It will be redirected to 13MELB so you still have to wait

When do new spots open on Monday...10am?

My timetable is completely screwed, and right now there is a clash which I can't get rid of, even if I go to different lectures that I am not enrolled in.

Initially they had 2 lecture streams for chem for biomed on the uni timetable, but now it is gone.  :(

I can fix it, but I need to wait for the new spots to open up.

Best to go in but be warned, because those appointment slips they were handing out yesterday are for Monday and Tuesday beginning 9am.
So there might be straight bookings of people and no chance to talk.

Although I highly doubt everyone or even most people will turn up to their appointments.
This one girl in front of me was like 'an advice appointment, what's that!'.  The woman was like 'it's to talk about subject selection if you have a valid reason or a particularly tricky case.  it isn't necessary and you shouldn't do it if you don't need to.'
She turned to her friends and went '...do I need one?  I'll just take it anyway in case'.
She took the last appointment.
The woman rolled her eyes and so did I.

Understandable!  I have one at 9am Tuesday, during which I plan to storm in with my credit forms which I faxed through ages ago and tell them I have 'had it up to here', tell them 'I know they can just approve them right here because I have been at this university all along' and tell them 'if they don't do something about it I'm going to demand that the money I have to spend on full priced metcards will be requested from their ridiculously slow admin team'.
But I left my slip at my friend's work when I went to get lunch with her, I'm just hoping she did bring it home so I can go and pick it up or if they will alternatively accept me without it?

Advanced standing forms.  They were meant to sort them out before Monday so I could take one off and enroll in Physics but then they didn't and now they're bound to approve them when I'm already enrolled in Physics and choose which one they'd like to take off without my input.

I was under the impression that if you've done subjects at UoM, all you need to do is tell the Sci faculty which major you're hoping for, and they would automatically process it without forms D:

Nah, you have to fill in a form. It usually takes about 4-5 working days to process.

Should i be happy with this?

(Image removed from quote.)

Given that pracs won't be running every week, and i can skip the last lecture on friday (for whatever reason), is this decent?

So i changed one of my subjects (not on a whim) and now my timetable seems so much better! Minus the early start (which isnt so bad, and i might be able to fix it when the new slots come in), it looks so much better in comparison :D

I agree your new timetable is better Mankaey, are you going to change that ANCW10001 lecture because of the prac overlap or just ditch the lecture when you have a prac?

Sweet. Can't change it as they are there is only one lecture slot for ANCW, so yeah. In order to make them not-overlap, i'd have to use up one of my free arvos (not likely!)

Fun stuff like? (I might have read it from you before, I can't remember)

I can either have tuesday off and wed and thurs arvo workshop and prac...or move them to tuesday and have wed and thurs off from 1 PM.

O.k that does sound good now that I think about it...but a day off...
