It is opening at 10am.

https://sis.unimelb.edu.au/enrolmentnextsteps.html

I am going to bed.

If anyone steals the times I want, I will hunt you down and kill you.  (seriously)  :P

IIRC only other subject you doing that I am is calc 1 so no need to worry (I'm gonna be first on)...

now I feel as though I should sleep...but there's only 8 hrs left...I won't get up on time! :p

10am is good!  As long as it doesn't take me three hours to make my ttable like last semester, I need to go out for lunch.

@Massofbubbles, your timetable is looking a lot like mine, except I have both the pracs on the one day. I don't think it'll be too bad or draining, cos we'd have two hours off in between. My cousin also did the "two pracs in one day" thing and said it wasn't bad and sometimes when there isn't a prac at all, you'd only have to be at uni for half a day. Another good thing which you've mentioned is you'll have the entire Friday afternoon off for you to spend however you like! :)

Here's my timetable at the moment:

(Image removed from quote.)

I have the option of moving my chem prac from friday to start on tuesday at 9am (will then have two hours between pracs) and to move my chem tute from thursday avo to friday at 12pm.

Does this sound like a good idea? It means I'll have 3 days of 4 hours in a row, and two pracs on one day. I'm a bit worried that it'll be too draining, but at the same time it'd be nice to have friday avo off, and to have a compact timwtable.

What would you guys do?

That timetable is quite good. I'd definitely move the tute to Friday, though. As for the prac...well I guess it depends on whether you'd prefer to sleep in on Tuesdays or go home early on Fridays. Pracs aren't very draining (less draining than lectures, in my opinion), so I wouldn't worry about having two in one day.

You need to remember that pracs aren't every week.
Move your chem prac to Tuesday and your tute to Friday

Does the fact that you can't waitlist into the full classes for Biology mean that you're stuck with the available places which are current and no new ones will come out today?  Because if so, my timetable is utterly and completely fucked up.

^I also am worried.  I have a feeling they may have already given some of, if not all of the 'new spots' to people who went in and annoyed them.  :/  Well at least for what I want haha.

I was gonna go for a waitlisted class in Bio, but then they can change it on you, so I didn't really want that.  But yeah, if it has been waitlisted, you'd imagine all the spots are unfortunately gone.

It makes no sense though because they have a lecture waitlisted and that would mean 100+ people would have had to go in and request to be in the lecture if you're right.  It used to say 'more places available on the 21st' but now it's just not doing it.  Maybe it's a glitch that will fix itself.

I have an emergency timetable but it will mean a hell day.

Well, the amount of places being released today are only a third of the amount of places released last month so it'd be easier to fill them up. Make sure you get in quickly :P

And if you don't get what you want, there's still a chance to swap with other people - every year emails go around from people begging for someone else to change with them.

If it crashes I am screwed.  :/

It is working alright now though.  All I need to do is get onto the Chem page and make two changes.  Then I'll be happy.

The Calc 1 2.15 stream is a lower priority haha, but still important.

I basically have my whole timetable to do because of my second round offer.
And Russ, I know, but it still makes no sense that Biology wouldn't be releasing more places when like 80% of the classes are full.

I don't understand why they waitlist bio classes, but all the other ones are normal and just say they are full.

Very strange...
