great ... im stuffed since i havent done 1/2 :/

No need to worry. ;) All the stuff you'll need to know from 1&2 will be in the introductory chapter (before the real chapter 1) in the Justice&Outcomes book.

ohh we use the book making and breakin the law .. its a new 2011 one

idk today the teacher was going on about, the way parlament works n stuff and i was just confused...
Legal is the type of subject where, if you pay attention in class, and read over for like 30 mins what you learned everyday (assuming your class keeps and average-good pace) you can eeeeasily get a 40+
A lot of the kids will have forgotten unit 1/2 stuff anyway, no biggie. With that said, don't get overconfident either, work consistently hard. I saw you were quite overconfident with IT and in the end you were a bit disappointed lol..

what does that mean? "incoherent/cohesive " ... i think the assessor didnt even pay attentiion to what i had written properly.. because the other students about 6 of them, got 28 30 33 33 30 ... something like that .. maybe he thought... "these guys are shocking" n marked me bad lik that rest

saying that you can eeeeeasily get over 40 if you keep up with class and read over your stuff is wrong imo.... In legal it is extremely difficult to crack 40 because of the  amount of marks you can lose.... In order to excel in legal you need to have an extremely good exam technique.... Knowing the content can only get you so far

Just because he's here doesn't mean he is interested in education. He takes an interest in it because he knows that ultimately, it's what shapes him for his career. Plus there's more (hesitantly, I'd say better) sports out there than soccer. Aha.

That being said, I was overconfident in Legal Studies last year. It was probably one of the worst mistakes you can make - you might know your stuff, but how does it apply to the real world? Legal isn't all about text books and whatnot, but what you take away from it that pushes your score. You find someone that can tell me the four torts, and you've got yourself the average student. You find someone that can tell me what those four torts mean, what they are, how they're applied and the typical remedies and you've got yourself a good student.

I agree with Andy in terms of how tight it is once you get over 40 in relation to marks lost. There is a handful of marks at most that separates a 40 SS and a 50 SS, SACs included. My SS for Legals is evidence of this.

Also, MrIraq, I can't see why you wouldn't be appreciative of 2010 Legals kids giving you and others on here invaluable advice about the subject. We know what we're talking about, we've done the subject and you haven't. The reason I'm on ATAR Notes even though I've finished secondary school is to help people like you get the score you want, like people helped me last year to get the scores that I wanted. That is the predominant reason for the site's existence.

I want to cry. Somebody explain why I chose this subject again? UGH all the new study designs friggen suck

Chin up bud. It isn't that different to the previous study design, don't stress. Work hard and a 40 is yours!
