I can tell you that 2010's Accounting exam writers wrote exams which were largely inaccurate (both Midyear and end of the year)
Hence, confusing a lot of the students and maybe discouraging them to do their very best.
But now the writing team has been fired.

So, there is a 50/50 chance you'll get a more easier exam.
therefore, more chance for you to get 40+.

And i did further last year,
i would no suggest to leave further.
It's quite repetitive...so once you get it
you'll be a master of it.

It may be an easier exam, but everyone will find it easier and your study score is based relative to everyone else in the state doing accounting
Therefore, I wouldn't say its easier to get 40+ just because of an easier exam
2010: Chinese SL (36 ---> 45.6), Accounting (48 ---> 48.4)
2011: English (47), Methods (50), Spesh (43 ----> 52.7), Chemistry (48 ----> 49.3), Physics (38)
ATAR: 99.90
2011 UMAT:
S1:[105] S2:[45] S3:[90] Overall:[80] Percentile: 100th

Need chem/methods tutoring?
I'm offering it based predominantly in the south-eastern suburbs (Caulfield-ish) - PM me.

I got A+, A+, A+ last year with 79/90 for my first exam and A+ for the second exam. Got 43 raw which scaled to 44. I don't think it's hard to get above 40 if you were good at accounting in 1/2. As you can tell I made some very careless and stupid mistakes in exam 1 >.<"
