Hi,  I'm Burberry. You may remember me from threads such as "But why is the rum gone? The Fyrefly conundrum."

I noticed a few threads in the past couple of months on making notes, and thought I would post up a guide on making notes.

Step 1: Find a pen. See pen suggestion thread for details.
Step 2: Find paper.
Step 3: Condense information previously learnt from textbooks and class into your own words putting emphasis on testable concepts.

Alternatively you could type them up, it's quicker but not really as effective . (also see this and this.) However, if you do choose to type, try this.

Choosing the right pen. (should be in that topic but cbf)

i learnt this tip from my teacher for writing long exam essays.

use a heavier pen throughout the year/ eg parker pens or if you are a cheapo like me you can attach a rubber to the top of your pen/pencil with tape or an elastic band.
This will build your hand muscles so it becomes "tank". By the time of English exam switch to a lighter pen and you will be able go for ages.

POSSIBLE ALT METHOD?
attach finger weights while gaming?

Doing pushups with your fingers LOL
