Okay when i view my fees it comes up as this

Date Invoiced   Transaction   Fee Name   Subject Code   Due Date   Amount   Amount Due
26-Jan-2011   Fee   C'wealth Student Contribution   BIOL10004   31-Mar-2011   $544.00    $435.20
27-Jan-2011   Fee   C'wealth Student Contribution   CHEM10003   31-Mar-2011   $544.00    $435.20
30-Jan-2011   Fee   C'wealth Student Contribution   UNIB10003   31-Mar-2011   $680.00    $544.00
31-Jan-2011   Fee   C'wealth Student Contribution   PSYC10003   31-Mar-2011   $680.00    $544.00

Why is UNIB10003 and PSYC10003 ?? IS it because i enrolled it at a later date ??

Thanks

Nah some subjects are more expensive than others. Uni breadths are usually ridiculously expensive since resources are taken from a range of faculties. My UNIB was almost $1000 CSP :o
2007-2008 VCE ATAR 90.15
2009-2011 BSc (Unimelb)
2012-2015 DDS (Unimelb)

There are bands of government subsidies, science subjects cost less than arts subjects etc.

Different subjects costs different amounts. I can't find the table I was looking for, but page 8 of the below link explains it a bit and gives some examples.

Yeah, sciences are the cheapest because they are a "National Priority" apparently.

And the fees don't really agree that psych is a full 100% science because it's not the same price as chem, physics or maths.  :o

Yeah i noticed this too. Quite frustrating. Should be allowed to take it as breadth too, if its not considered a full science subject.

Actually, all it really says about psychology/behavioural science is that's it's not a national priority :P

In other news, I did a UNIB subject (same as Edmund), and it was my most expensive subject everrrr. And people were just taking it as an interesting, perhaps bludgy, subject to fulfill a breadth requirement. And then everyone saw their statement of liability :x
