Oh wow! I thought they took ages and ages to be written/released.

I wonder if anyone got their work published!
2011 - English, English Language, Philosophy, Indonesian SL, Outdoor and Environmental Studies.

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

The language analysis on the VCAA report pwns mine. How the hell did I get a 34 with that one language analysis... when it doesn't even compare to the one on the report? *sigh*

You know you would've had to have received a 10 for your analysis :P (You got a C+ right? If so, based on last year's stats, you would need a 10 and 4.5-6.5 to be in that range :coolsmiley: )

Yeah it was a C+.. I might order a statement of marks to clear things up. ;D There's no way I got 4.5 to 6.5 for the second essay - it was only 2 paragraphs long. =='

Well have a look at last year's stats - clearly a C+ is 29-33 / 60 which is a combined total of 14.5-16.5 for your essays out of 10. This of course is only an approximation as it was for 2009 but it would have to be close :P

Perhaps your essay was more pro than you thought.. Did you have intro + 2 or 2 including the intro? 'Cause I had a two paragraph essay + intro with a (really) crappy conc and got 4 :coolsmiley: haha get your SoM - there's only a few days left before you have to pay a late fee. You're gonna get 50 this year :P haha

Oh gosh, why am I feeling too nervous to look at the report? This is stupid.

And now that I have read it I don't know how I did so well in English.

Also keep in mind that he had full mark sacs, and also completely destroyed one of his classmates' study score with his effort :)

LOL they were near-perfect, not perfect SACs. ;D Funny thing is, my 34 was the third highest score in the class (highest was 41). Ironically, most of the class finished the exam.
