Aims.
‎"We divert our attention from disease and death as much as we can; and the slaughter-houses and indecencies without end on which our life is founded are huddled out of sight and never mentioned, so that the world we recognize officially in literature and in society is a poetic fiction far handsomer and cleaner and better than the world that really is."
- William James.

Eh, I'll tell you my aims even if it's not what he's asking for:

Before tonight: Finish my Economics multiple choice questions, try to get most of them right

This week: Do well in my Literature SAC, shuffle my time effectively enough to have time to go to a birthday party, proceed slightly faster than everyone else all my other subjects.

This month: Don't get distracted and keep on working slightly faster than everyone else. Also, do well in English SAC in two weeks time.

Study Score Aims:

Literature: more than forty-three
Economics: more than forty-three
Further: more than thirty-five
International Studies: more than forty-five
English: more than forty-five

ATAR: more than ninety-nine (but it's no biggie if i get lower)

Uni: Guaranteed entry into Melbourne JD from melbourn arts (hence the +99)

Outside School: Save up more than 7,000 by March next year so that I can take a gap year around the world.

Life: Get a nice paying job as a barrister, try and be like rake, have fun, have time off to travel lots and hopefully have kids one day.

About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle
