What is a senior member D: ?

I was referring to the VN-ers that have been here since like 2008 (mostly mods and other big-posters). I suppose you're pretty senior though

There is an upper force that will be angry if you try to classify members like that, we all equal yo!

Fair enough! I could definitely see a couple of VN-ers taking offence to being called 'seniors' ;D

CHANGED:
you can get people to write down personal statements of their experience of ATARnotes... from all sorts of generations

I like this and if you want, I can write something!

(and I finally get enwiabe's name! see her for more info)

I can see this leading to a big boom in members if this works out as well as it sounds.
Also just an idea, for the brochure you could just get a few things that the members on this board have said in how it has helped them.
I don't remember who it was but there was a thread where one member thanked the whole forum for helping him with his success several quotes out of that could be used along with others that stand out.

Are you taking this to the The Sydney Morning Herald HSC and Careers Expo 2011 too?

That would definitely give the other forums a big boost!

This is looking pretty damn cool :)

I think copies of any high quality notes (ask permission of authors to chuck an ATARNotes banner on it), the book, any trial exams (by then I think Methods, Psychology, and Legal Studies may be completed), and maybe even a video of some screenshots with helpful explanations all chucked together in a nice video with cool titles and smooth editing.

As Taiga said. Somebody with good video editing skills should make a little video showing the site, showing members helping out each other in specific questions etc

Decent idea.
I think it's safe to say powerpoint skills will also be just as useful for making the video.

But ultimately, the video isn't going to be doing most of the selling. You need people there to talk to the students and draw them in. People don't tend to just stand still watching videos at a stall in an expo like this.

On that note, who's enwiabe bringing for the day? Or is it not yet decided?

Although, a video would help gain there attention.
I do agree with the rest though in that they will need someone there to draw them in and tell them how it is open community based forum where everyone has knowledge in one area whether it be questions about tertiary education to help with a homework question. They will need to make it sound fun and a place which could help them out.

Shinny is definitely right, but it just adds to the overall presentation of the stall; no one likes a boring stall! :P

Have you seen the amount of activity threads that have debates get? People would be watching and chiming in!
