Resources for the new study design to practice with?

I've just finished all my notes on study cards (took me like 10hours -_-) did my checkpoints, and now I wanna know how to approach handling more questions.. since it's a new study design. Are there any company exams for the 2011 psychology study design coming out? Are you all using the past exams as revision still? How are you all gonna tackle the lack of practice exams? Thanks in advance

Definitely go through past papers from the old study design (there are so many) and just do the relevant questions, I'm sure there are heaps :) I would suggest to do this first before attempting whole papers of the current design.

There should be companies making 2011 exams for the new study design.

And like vexx said, you can still do the relevant bits of the past papers

The A+ Psychology practice exams for units 3 and 4 are out, but they don't have the mini essay questions

2011: English | English Language | Chemistry | Mathematical Methods (CAS) | Psychology

Also: A Psych thread not by ATAR :P
This. Seriously guys - get into Psych! :P

Personally I'm doing like seriously all the past exams and just filtering through irrelevant information such as sleep disorders and night terrors vs nightmares...and the exams for 2011 will be made by May I think.

Try using this website:
http://www.studyon.com.au/
It costs $40 to buy each subject (they have just about every VCE subject) but it's definitely worth it. For Psych you actually have to buy units 3 and 4 separately which is a bummer. There's practice questions, mini exams and complete practice exams on there, along with summary notes for the whole course and videos and other interactive activities. You can also download all the videos etc to put on your iPod.
While it seems fairly expensive, I would definitely recommend it!
Also, have a look at these. I have the Psych one and it's good.

Hope this helps!

I've seen people with studyon cards and the like, honestly, they cover only the most basic things and i really don't see any use in them, although, if you study best from cue cards they can be useful

The cards are eh, the online resource is the reason for my score in BM.

Basically they give amazing SAC preparation, and BM was lacking in good questions for me to do. Basically they have so many questions that you get exposed to almost everything. By the time I got to practice exams I was able to just focus on technique rather than "what do they mean by this?" Very helpful. I got for psych hoping it would be useful for the new SD. I'd say they are decent but Psych is unique in that questions are separated by AOS, and there isn't this integration of topics like my other subjects have. Means that I can just go through past exams for questions.

But yeah, the questions are good!

New SD = integrated Qs, not separated by AOS.

The cards alone aren't the greatest, but they make a good addition to your summary notes. I look at them while I am going through and summarising my textbook and the notes our teacher makes for us and I find it helps me to make my summaries more concise.
I also think that the questions are great, but then again other people might find the whole thing useless.
