Yeh, I upgraded my old phpBB forum to vBulletin - it was very easy, everything was preserved.

I WANT MY FREEDOM *enwiabe replaces my mouth with a music box that repeats "I want my government, I want my government, I want my government..."*

I'll ask the SMF team if they'd let me use SMF 2.0 Beta for this site. SMF 2.0 is currently a closed beta that only charter members and SMF team members can use, but since I'm a team member, they may let us use it on this site :D

If you like phpBB you'll go crazy when you see SMF 2.0 :D
 - WYSIWYG (rich-text) editor for posts which you can use instead of manually entering BBCodes
 - Moderation center - Monitor users and stuff
 - User warning system
 - Custom profile fields (so, we could have a "Year 12 Subjects" field that would appear on user's profiles)
 - And other cool stuff, plus all of the cool stuff in SMF 1.1 :D
:D

See http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=163438.0 and http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=190812.0 for more :)

Better polish that button... enwiabe.

No offense, but phpBB is t3h suXX0r.

SMF would be interesting. I support that, if it goes through.

Why was this site called Free Study Notes? People at my school think it's cheap-sounding. Especially the BoS spam that someone's been doing.

Because when you acronym it, FSN is close to MSN and is catchy. :) And also, when I parked this domain 11 months ago, it sounded good. I might change it to something less tacky after VCE. Depending on how much I budget for the site.

What about something like vcechat.com or vceforum.com or something? Generic name = easy to remember :)
Looks like vceforum.com was registered last year but has since expired... I was going to register it but didn't have enough money in my PayPal account :P

And I agree, phpBB sucks. Nearly every other forum system is better than it :P

Something with VCE in it would make it more appealing.

.. and not to mention easier to find.

might be able to lend a hand with history revs and media, considering they aren't as popular. depends if i make the 'stringent requirements' :D

regardless i'll try to come back after holidays to post some notes for those subjects, considering it's quite difficult to find resources for either subject on the net.

I could probably help out in the English section as English is one of my stronger subjects.

Btw. It is good that this website is up and running. I am trying to boost publicity, by posting on BOS in different forums and sections with my new signature:

http://community.boredofstudies.org/416/mathematical-methods/158420/methods-exam-2-thoughts.html

The only other problem with BOS is that it is toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
