you know for the last question. there was a VERY SIMILAR ONE on the 2007 kilbaha methods exam 1. lucky i did it  the nite before:P yay 4 marks.

Grrrr... The practice exam you were telling me about... I was looking for but couldn't find it. It's still sitting in my room somewhere.
I still think I did it properly, though =]

Gosh, reading all of this and people discussing their answers, I feel so stupid. Seriously. When I say that Methods is not my forte, I mean that I should have done Further this year and maybe I at least would have gotten more than hmmm...a 6 for my study score. The stupid thing was that...

...Well, I only took Methods because you needed a 25 SS for it to do a Bachelor of Arts / Sciences at the University of Melbourne. I only found out halfway through this year about the Melbourne Model. What a stupid idiot I was.

Haha, I didn't even finish the exam. And the questions that I did finish...well, I realise that I didn't even answer them correctly. So there goes that  

You guys are amazing. How do guys grasp methods so well? Knowing how everything works and fits...that's awesome. After high school, I'm going to hire myself a tutor, regardless of whether I'll ever do math ever again. I think it's a fascinating subject - or at least a great skill to be able to apply formulas and make them work for you. It's just a skill that I lack.

Will definitely be my bottom subject.

Good work, nice to see your being positive. My maths teacher didn't like maths at highschool, became a psychologist (which you may be?) and then found it boring and came back to teach maths, he also finds it fascinating and therefore he is a great teacher. Who knows, you may teach maths later on?

Nice to see your staying positive, do try for the Exam 2, who knows you may get lucky!

I can't believe I couldn;t do the probability questions.!!!! and I did stupid mistakes for simple calculations... :x

Haha, well actually, it was either between negative and positive because those were the only words that I could of think of to rhyme with 'Viv.' I just figured positive sounded better than negative

But anyway, I think I deviated a little from the topic. Hrmmm...

Just to get it back to topic: I know the majority of people at my school found it hard too. Hope you guys did well
