As far as I know, no they are not, and we haven't covered them either.

Thought so, I haven't seen them in any textbooks. Thanks! :)

Kinda wishing we had covered them, they look preety good  :)

Sometimes useful in integration (trig substitution) to make life easier instead of subbing in sec(x) (for example). Other than that, I have no idea what they are used for. They look cool though. :)

Quick q, hyperbolic trig functions (and their inverses) are definitely NOT on the course right?
