Drosophila - A small fruit fly which is inexpensive and easily replaceable. Do to its small size, we see no ethical challenges in subjecting it to biological experiments. :)

haha yeah...E for Exam: torturous paper booklet with confusing questions printed on it, specifically designed by VCAA to bully Victorian biology students :)

anyway, my next contribution to the alphabet game:

F for fever: the setting of the body's temperature to a higher point, induced by macrophage-secreted interleukins as part of the inflammatory response. Fever limits the functioning of pathogens, allowing the immune cells to act more effectively.
