hey, im in yr 11 and Ive pretty much failed chem (got like 30% on the exam)
... ive tried but yea, Chemistry is just not for me, but now my parents are letting me drop it??

I don't even know why, I think they want me to do medicine or something? I probably won't even get in.
I've been doing well in everything else but not chem
Anyway what should I do?
My parents seriously don't listen when I tell them I'm failing, they just tell me try harder?

??
I sort of have 3 options (will include advantages and limitations)
(1) I actually try in chem, I think if I tried harder I could do ok...
Advantages: I do OK in chem, don't have to drop it...
Disadvantages: I'll need to put in a lot more effort and my other subs will suffer, and theres the possiblity that I still suck at chem even when I try
(2) I ignore chem altogether and just let it rot in my subjects in the bottom 2..... obviously this is a bad option but im telling u, my parents just dont understand
(3) I perform bad on purpose and hope they realise I SUCK and let me drop it (note: this may backfire and they could just tell me to work harder)
And yes, I have tried to reason with my parents BUT they seriously just tell me to try harder :coolsmiley:
so yea please don't say : explain to ur parents your failing ...etc.....I have said that a lot!
