When analysing the differences in discourse over the different generations, how has it changed?

THanks :)

Technology -> Ipads with their programs, websites. Technology is replacing books in many cases eg. ebooks.

Older generations use much less Americanisms and more recent slang and colloquialisms
They also use more older idioms and colloquialisms (eg, Shot off like a Bondi Tram: derived from the old Bondi tram drivers who used to drive recklessly downhills)
Younger generations (especially females) tend to use the high rising intonation in times of needing to convey information, not just asking a question. Younger generations also incorporate many more Americanisms due to the rising media and market of the US (eg, Hollywood movies and the use of 'Momentarily' on the National Broadcast Radio, which is actually an Americanism)
