Whats the difference between UV and Colorimetry Analysis?

Its just that they are on different parts of the spectrums, i.e visible and UV, but the analysis is basically the same yeah?

also for colorimetry you are choosing a complementary coloured light (rather than just a white light lamp) based on the colour of the solution - so it only works for coloured solutions. UV/Vis can include both spectra and is therefore usable on a wider range of solutions. The majority of the analysis is the same though.
