How does it compared to previous years?
You'll get around the same patterns of activity. Around exam time and when uni offers come out, you'll see activity explode to the point that it implodes haha. But you get the point. Around this time, it's around about average. Also, during school holidays you'll see activity spike up a bit.
Are we retaining our old members or are most of them deleting their accounts when VCE ends?
Most of the active posters hang around post-VCE. You might see decreased activity due to commitments but mods will hang around because this is one of our commitments.
Are the currently existing AN users more active than previous years? How does it compare to previous years?
Unfortunately, I cannot answer that question accurately without the available statistics. Perhaps one of the admins will have that information.
Are we getting better or worse moderators?
We attempt to do our best to work collaboratively to maintain these forums, if you are unhappy with the behaviour or actions of one of the moderators, you are more than free to approach them via PM or go higher up to either ninwa or enwiabe.
How many members have gotten registered in total in 2010? how about in 2009 and previous years? how to they compare? is this number increasing?
I think
this page should give you some information. Although it doesn't answer your question directly it should help.

when do the mods expect every year 12 student in australia to be aware of the existence of Atar notes and the marvellous service/help it provides to worried and stressed out students?
As you may be aware, with the recent expansion of VCE Notes into ATAR Notes, the administrators of this forum are currently planning ahead to advertise and promote the existence of the site. Currently, one of the major public projects is
The Age Careers Expo which AN will be attending.
if enough students join, will ATAR notes ever charge money to students for access to this forum?
Already answered.
