I've been getting a couple of emails with similar questions from students so I thought I'd post them here incase you were wondering the same thing:
Is your practice exam just a bunch of questions taken from other sources like VCAA or commercial companies like TSFX, NEAP, etc?No, certainly not. This would be breaching copyright laws. All of my questions I've made on my own, using my own ideas and knowledge to test your understanding of the topics.
Is your exam going to be really hard (like neap) or really easy (like tssm)?I'm not really sure whether you'll find it difficult or not at this stage, it'll vary obviously according to how well prepared you are. It's going to be a "fair" paper, so there'll be easy parts and hard parts which will require you to really think carefully or apply your knowledge to an unfamiliar scenario. I've tried to make it as close as possible to a VCAA paper, instead of just putting copious amounts of very difficult and not often tested topics. I think this will be of greater benefit to you rather than scaring you with unimportant content before your exam.
Can you mark the exam once I've finished it?Unfortunately no because I have uni exams to study for and won't have the time. I will provide MC answers via email as soon as you've gotten the paper but short answer and E.R will have to be marked by your teacher. I can send out sample short answer + E.R. responses on Saturday the 11th of June (that's when my uni exams finish). I know it's cutting it very fine with the exam date (wed the 15th) but I recommend doing my exam close to the exam date anyway and my suggested responses should only further develop your understanding from what your teacher marked.
When should I do your exam?I'd recommend doing it as close as possible to the actual exam date because it'll be one of the best representations of what the actual exam will be like (or so I'd like to hope!

) and you don't wanna waste it by doing it before you've properly revised the course. I'd say roughly 10 days before the actual exam would be best for you. It also gives you enough time to go over the material you didn't do so well on in the exam.
