In my honest opinion this is one of the stupidest threads I have ever read on an internet forum.
Who the hell cares that they promote themselves illegitimately? Are you suggesting every single VCE company doesn't do this? WOW SHOCK HORROR, company uses fake testimonials...

Interesting how the ban evading scum sides with the snakeoil salesmen :) (This was aznboy50 who was previously permbanned for being an obnoxious twat)

Anybody thought that esther humprey (one of the fake testimonials) might be josiah humprey's sister..?

Makes it even worse then. To lie in your sisters name is shocking

I have been told that the lectures are now having proceeds donated to charity, if its true, good move from p2g.

That's pretty honourable of them
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

They said all the "profit" goes to charity.... so obviously the implication is that all the money will go to charity AFTER expenses which is fair enough, but I'd be pretty skeptical about them doing it supposedly for nothing, I'm sure they're still getting some salary from it.

yep, so to restate, in the perspective of an accounting scholar
their Net Profit will go to charity,  not gross profit.
How would one verify these claims though

Yeah, went today. Pretty good. They offered the notes free coz they had too many spare copies which was nice of them. Also, you could walk in without paying and get as many sets of notes as you wanted.. So.. they're pretty chill !
Douchy was awesome, went up and shook his hand :D

Donating to charity sounds like a business move to make up for their shit previously, or perhaps even at a demand of the lecturers, hard to say why a couple blokes caught out for false advertising/deception would do that without any other motive.

That said I was told that the lecture was amazing, the notes were great, and the exams were okay. Hopefully these teachers decide to go elsewhere though.

Yeah, the lecture was great! It was really interactive, good revision. PLUS the text messages some people sent were priceless!
(Did anyone else think that the guy who won the T-shirt was a bit too desperate? He put up his number and facebook about 3 times :P)

It's obvious that the work of some of our noble Interweb Detectives on this forum have severed P2G's company - the "one off fundraiser" they did means that there won't be any U4 lectures.

That said, it would be a shame not to have Douchy again for the next unit.
