  • School: who needs school when you got SWAG?
Just as an fyi, I looked the school up on this: http://www.topscores.info/select-vic.php?req=da-all&year=2010&sortBy=name&filter=name!Contains!Erin&pageno=1#pagehere

Esther Humphreys is listed as achieving a 44 in Media... after using ATAR Calculator, asssuming her other subjects had a scaled score in the high 30's it's definitely plausible she got a 92.

Is anyone able to somehow check her results? I remember the age had a search function or something?

Whoever this Esther Humprey person is, she didn't get over 92.

Don't ask, I'm bored :D

I don't understand why, if they have such brilliant teachers as Douchy, they feel the need to lie?

Usually I'd let it go, but at the expo they were overheard at the TSFX stall, telling TSFX they were planning to destroy TSFX's business...

Exactly.

I feel sorry for people like Douchy who have their reputations ruined by the companies they associate with. Quite a few of these companies push the lines in their marketing practices, this is just way too far though.

Shiet, underhand methods are definitly not the way to go. However, seeing as Douchy 'should' be actually coming, it should be decent. I hope. S:.

Sigh. Good work though enwiabe :D

Ahhh I was trying to find something like that from their website, solid effort!

Pretty disappointing though, regardless of the quality of the bio lecture I doubt I'll ever go to them again.

I would actually like to see all these well reputed teachers notified of these revelations. Not only is this not fair on the students, it is also unfair on them.

The testimonials are not available on the "home", "lectures", "genius class", or "blog" tabs, but still remain in the freebies/contact tabs (and in the privacy ones at the bottom)

@Ghost
I really like her, shes the teacher in charge of the sport I do, really nice, and I think most people reckon shes a good teacher.

I wonder if this person is legit, apologies if so

Meh, who cares. Once again, we're not questioning the quality of the lecturers themselves anyway.

So... Should I still book for the chem seminar? I mean if the material is still good and its only the reputation at hand, then for $47 I'm willing to over look that.

It's your decision, depends on whether or not you feel comfortable with the ethics of the company.

Their office in the city is also a virtual office fwiw, rather than an actual one

You mean it's just a receptionist answering a phone for multiple companies? Priceless.

You can book if you like, we're not questioning the quality of their services, as it would mostly be determined by the quality of the lecturers (who I am sure are not involved in such immoral behavior). I think the teachers are being contacted as we speak, and it will be down to them in the end.

Here we face a dilemma between maintaining a moral stance with regard to our purchases, and doing what may be beneficial for our education. I personally think that you as students are justified in choosing to go either way.

That said, given these revelations, teachers may no longer want to have an affiliation with P2G.

Presumably, I'm no economics student so I don't know how common that practice is though
