we gotta do all of chapter 13 (in essential) ourselves this weekend, protein/DNA sac next week......then chap 14 left :S

We just finished all of our unit 3 SACs, have trial exam next week (organised by school, written by chem dep). Not ready for it though :(

We still haven't done DNA or much on carbohydrates :(

Trial exams don't 'count' unless you're going for subject prize, right?

Pretty much, chem prize and/or pure science prize. I got like 47/75 for bio unit 4 trial last year, so it doesn't really matter at all.

You should be fine having done Bio. It certainly helped me... :D

and btw, will there be a lot of biochemistry questions such as proteins, dna, primary structure, etc. in the exam?

There will be a some but i reckon there will be more of the anaylsis stuff i.e. titrations, gravimetric, spec and chrom stuff

think I failed the midyear exam, but starting industrial chemistry now :) yaya
