Just did the prac today, Thursday is my write up but did some of the questions today. The questions seem fairly straightforward though.

lol thanks :)
i got the last part of the lizard q. right (russ was right ;)) but the ones i thought were simple i got 1 mark off because i didnt really relate it to the context and how blabla would benefit the lizard.

o i have a question; what should your overall sac average score be (in percentages) to have a decent chance of getting a 40?

i calculated my average so far - its 81%... low due to my almost fail in SAC 2.
how much harder do i have to try?
and is it just my school, but lots of the random weaker students seem to be getting 99%s :|

Same! I am rank #3 atm, and people who think they will fail the exam are getting 100%s... doesn't seem fair but can't really do anything except try harder on the next one :)

Its not impossible, but a mate of mine got an A for SACs and 2 A+s on exam and ended up with a 39. So make sure you work pretty hard and get the average to an A+

Good luck :)

Ok got SAC 3 back and I'm so far on 75/75 for all three SACs combined and
am rank 1, but thats because one of my SAC was actually rounded upto
25/25 when it should have been 24/25  :P

My teacher basically said that the whole class did really, really bad. The average will probably be 12-14/25 and i do not expect to get over 20/25. I won't go into more detail publically, but this is a blow to my aspiration of a 48 +

my first 2 sacs have been good, i think i am currently on 23.5 - 24 / 25 average

but if i get an 16, my average drops down to a 21.

The problem is not that my teacher marks hard, but that other teachers of the same subject in my school mark very easily and there is no cross - marking, which means my ranking will be quite low (although still quite high in my class alone). I know one SAC does not define a subject, but it will be HARD to turn a 21 average back up into a 23 / 24 which is necessary i feel to have a shot at a 50

Having said this, my biology teacher is probably the best in the subject, so hopefully this can hold me in good stead for the exam

:(
