I wish Business Management had some sort of practical assessment
With the focus of the 3/4 course being on small businesses and managing your own small business (which would be like 50% of the SS).

Mmm = me in heaven (A)

hahaha that would be awesome!! do you mean like a permanent business? last year for 1/2 we had a market day where we ran our own small business

You can study Ancient history in HSC. I second that- Ancient history would be awesome.

Music composition would've been awesome.

I'm surprised they don't have anything on Social Anthropology (they do in the IB system).

Pure maths would also have been awesome, though I'm a bit biased there, not sure if that many people would be interested...

The general science idea suggested earlier seemed pretty good.

ooooh yes!
I think you have to compose a piece of music for Music Styles ... but it'd be awesome (and extremely subjective lol) to have an entire subject like that

they should teach morals and ethics!
they already do. it is a big part of VCE Philosophy.

on that note, they should offer astronomy as a subject in VCE. Physics is like, one big messed up subject full of junk.

Yep, in Music Styles, you have to compose, and it's worth 40% of each unit. However, it's not the same as a Music Composition course would be, because you don't get marked on the theory (e.g. whether you have open fifths, etc.), but rather, you get marked on having and explaining your creative processes/ideas/use of repetition, variation, contrast.

So, a Music Composition class would be fun, but I already do enough music subjects...

But that's the thing about the VCE, the subject content should be giving you a taste of that particular subject, and not necessarily specialising students in particular subsets of that subject.
