I have special consideration, I could take a MasterChef Mystery Box into my exams and nobody would say anything :)

Obviously eating and intense intellectual activity is tantamount to Georgia Costanza's utopia which involves sex, eating and TV. The only thing missing from the exam setup is the TV.

If you get special consideration approved then they'll probably contact you to ask you if you want to sit the supplementary exam (assuming you don't fail).

Sitting one is horrible though, you've got to go back and study for another few weeks after the exam period is over

What do you mean "assuming you don't fail"? I would've thought failure would be the reason one would need to resit an exam.

If you do fail, they'll offer it to you if your circumstances merited it. I was just saying that if you'd passed, they might ask you if you still wanted a supp. I guess they probably wouldn't, they'd just tell you you're eligible and leave it up to you

Do you get your mark back before having to decide whether or not to resit?

I have been sick for the past 2 weeks and just got the HCAP filled out by my doctor.  Planning on submitting everything tomorrow.

I believe you will get the mark back first.

I've known people who got H2A's and have been offered a supplementary exam.  I'm pretty sure they end up using only the higher grade of the two.

So I've applied for special consideration, and submitted my HCAP form in on Friday. It has now been 5 days since my application, but the portal still says 'supporting documentation outstanding'. I tried calling 13MELB, but it's a public holiday. What am I supposed to do D:
