haha i laughed nacho,
I'll have a crack at it now, only done 11 practice exams to date, averaging around 90%...not to shabby :P

edit: alright i sorta did alright around 84%, it feels like the questions don't give you enough information, eg one of the first questions ask you to calculate interest expense, yet i cant find enough information to allow me to calculator that. If someone knows how to then please tell :)

Personally i think that the VCAA exams are a lot easier then this one, they will only put like 3-5 balance day adjustments in for reporting. And of those, it will probably involve, stocktake, wrong accounts debited/credited, depreciation of NCA and unpaid rent/wages for the reporting period.

No i think thats the general consensus (by general consensus, i mean my teacher :) ) and i think so too
And i think there is generally less theory questions in VCAA exams

I thought this one was unrealistic too, i mean if VCAA made it this hard (not saying it was entriely hard) the average would be low as. hopefully they don't decide to do it this year, but you know never know; it is the last year of the study design D:

okay..im positive theres a mistake in solutions.
for first question
when we convert from single entry to double entry, they change the value of the vehicle from the historical cost, to the professionally re-valued cost.
i thought this was only applicable, when some outside entity, (eg owner) donated a vehicle, as the historical cost doesnt apply here because the business' historical cost would just be w/e the previous entity decides.
i hope everyone can follow my line of thought.

Had a go at the C/F statement in mr. woods exam. Have to say, a bit disappointed that it was so vague.

I hope you guys don't get too stressed when you do this exam. Not very similar to VCAA.

I just did the correcting entry.. wasnt THAT hard. just go backwards, then forwards and collect accounts. like algebra :P

although in the trial balance theres a mistake?.. Commision revenue is on the wrong side? ???
