what do you consider good? :)

Above 80% I consider "good"
Above 90 is very good and 95+ excellent

Nah, I go a bit harsher:
80% - not good, try harder next-time, B+
90% - decent, might scrape an A, maybe
95% - good score, A+
Above 95% - congrats, high A+ (I'll pat myself on the back, hasn't happened yet though, hoping it will when I get to VCAA papers  ::))

I usually get 88%-93% (post-'finish of course' scores, used to get 80-85% before I finished the course), not too good atm...

Has anyone else tried TSFX 2010? I found that really long and it was pretty hard (yea yea thats what she said).
Don't waste your time on TSFX, its very unrealistic

what.. are you serious
90% "might scrap an A"
That's incredibly demotivating, surely an 88% average on trials does not get one a B+..
I'm still getting 88%. The day i crack that 90% will be a jizz 4 sho

Yeh I'm same as you.
If I get < 90% I'm not happy...
... I think everyone has their own "A" and "A+" standards though... I don't find it demotivating though, it makes me want to do more so I can crack those high 90's and 100's :)

yep apparently so. they predict that this years will be similar to 2009, which is appparently hard, and A+ was only a 78 so...

Guys, don't be worried if there is a hard exam - so long as it isn't dodgy.

It means that there's more scope for making careless mistakes AND the examiners are more likely to be lenient with marking. And remember, it's how you do against the rest of the state - so if you get say 64% in the VCAA 2011 exam, but 64% was the top mark in the state, then you should be over the moon :D

Chances are, that the majority of VN'ers get 40+ - seeing as we actually care about our VCE. All the best and good luck.

I'd like to wish you all good luck. I'll try be extra on the ball in the next couple of days with questions that I can answer (keep in mind I've got exams!).

Best of luck, make sure you revise over your errors in the next couple of days, and finish off any VCAA past exams available to you!
