Is this exam hard but relevant? Or is it more like TSFX which is kinda hard but irrelevant? If it's relevant I might give it a go...

:D

Do it tonight or tomorrow at the latest, don't want to be demoralised (I doubt you will be :D) with only a few days left!

72/78, was very intensive though. I dare someone to recommend this as the best exam to start with when you begin trial exams, would be quite funny :P

Damn, everyone's getting so much better than me :(

^ It's mostly relevant with a few off questions... like the fuel marker one :S
Made so many silly mistakes in it because I panicked and thought I knew nothing :(
Looking back, it's challenging but doable.

Wished the KBT paper was the VCAA paper, albeit without the random question on the fuel marker and the badly worded first multi-choice qn [the content of that qn was good, it was just badly worded].

on that note, were we supposed to know that amino acids decompose at high temperatures?

Yeah, that question got me too... I wouldn't think so, but at least you know now that they do... :D

I picked the monosaccharide option for that question, but apparently not...

Bloody hard (or maybe I'm just noob).

Just did KBT 2010 today. I'll admit it was difficult but I still managed to scrape a 93%.
Scrape!?! Thats nearly what thushan got! WOW!

Got 66/78 (damn you multiple choice qs!), I know thushan got 73.5/78, any other scores KBT '10?

Kinda hope the actual exam is at this level, will have better separation of scores than an easy exam.

just finished the exam and got 66/78 as well, I made some pretty cringe worthy mistakes....

would any care to explain MC question 18? I thought the CH3 on both sides were equivalent and would cause a split into 3+3+1=7 peaks?

Doing KBT tommorow. I"m scared haha.
About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle
