Bazza16, i think you got it right. its abscisic acid isnt it?
nature of biol book seems to suggest that ABA plays a main part in dropping/abscission of leaves:

Aw, that doesn't sound too good but having said that let's not exaggerate our mistakes and forget about the good things we've done. It was your first exam ever for you guys so it's expected that you might make some mistakes and misjudge the amount of time that you have. Still, I'm confident you would have done well and will have plenty to build on and learn from for unit 4.

That abscisic acid question.. I dont quite remember it, but im pretty sure it said something about abscission.. Its not called abscisic acid for nothing haha

I'VE GOT THE PAPER GUYS!!!! I'll send it to you lex when i get home if no one else does because I get home at 6pm.
I just had a biol class and we went through the paper. I aced Short answer got every question right but M.C was a disaster!
I'll post up some answers in a moment to multiple choice.

Good to hear that you went well, and don't be too concerned about MC - at least you did really well on SA. You can lose quite a few marks and end up doing well.

Cheers mate, that'd be great! Thanks for doing that. We'll try and get it up before 6pm but otherwise that'll be a nice backup plan :)

Oh okay that's good, at least you weren't inconvenienced :) Email me the exam at [email protected] and scocliffe (who's about to come out of his Med exam soon) and I will work on it and try it get it finished for you guys tonight. I thought it was fucking ridiculous. I was aiming for an A+ and I'll be lucky to get a C.  I said an allergic response for the ivy which is wrong! and since when did we learn about placebos? and there was no experimental design! And I found all of the diagrams reallly difficult to understand. I found 2006 - 2010 easy, so I was like ok, I can do this. But it was really unfair.
