How'd everyone go?
« on: June 14, 2011, 04:42:42 pm »
How was it?

I hope everyone is happy with how they went. CONGRATULATIONS! :D

What were the templates like? No major screw-ups this year?

Also, if someone could send me a copy of the exam, I can start working on the solutions :)

definitely easier than the past few years, lots of practical in comparison to the last few years as well.
Did everyone else finish it really quickly?

Lots of prac, sort of easy. Some iffy questions though, definitely wasn't sure about them. Managed to finish 20 minutes early, with only one other person in my class finishing and he had about 30 seconds to look over is paper..

Isnt that just a system of accounting whereby profit is calculated by deducting all relevant expenses incurred from all relevant reveues earned?

I think the two marks would be for saying:
BDAs made to ensure revenues earned match expenses incurred to determine a more accurate profit

Only tricky bit seemed to be the Prepaid Rent in 2.2: whether to classify the GST or not.

I think I put the GST Clearing as a debit entry in the general journal, would that be right? Or would it not be reported since he paid it out of his personal bank account?
