im estimating i dropped about 20 marks after viewing the answers, not bad hopefully the cross of mark will be lenient on me,
does anyone know if i will lose marks for not mentioning beta waves instead of betalike for SA1 , also would memory decline be associated with the sleep dep question?

i lost about 6 marks for MC and not too sure about SA...
for the question about 2 physiological chracteristics of chronic sleep dep. or whatever, if i wrote droopy eyelids and hand tremors...are those significant enough to be marked...
I coulda easily wrote fatigue and i experienced TOT phenomenon thinking of the word irritibality...goddamn

q36 MCQ is pissing me off.

The book says one thing and the 2010 assessor's report says another.

IMO both C and D should be accepted...

i think D's more correct as there was emphasis on the way they encoded :|

Nah but the 2010 assessor's report clearly states that the type of information DOES NOT INFLUENCE THE TREND/RATE/SHAPE.

I mean arghh. that's what I went by :(

Hahaha!
I'm just really hoping things go my way for MCQ and SA, 'cause I really screwed the extended response. D:

yes, the type of info was the same. However the WAY they did it effected the rate as it meaningful vs non meaningful. Type = doesn't matter you're right

did you end up writing alot? ^ i talked about dementia.. oh lord i broadened off so badly

Nope, 1/2-3/4 of a page. I seriously blanked out on that question. I wrote about amyloid protein build up, plaques and tangles (but not what they do because I couldn't remember), loss of procedural memory eventually (which generally doesn't happen for normal age-related decline), damage to the hippocampus (consolidating memories), anterograde and retrograde amnesia (I'm not so sure about retrograde..) and I forget what else.

Isn't Alzheimer's a type of dementia? If so, I think you should be okay :)

I'm not sure, but it'll probably earn more marks than what I wrote, which was difficulty consolidating memories... and death. Yes, death. :S
