The first thing I flicked through during reading time was the extended response. Oh god, it was so hard to squeeze out 15 marks. I ended up writing about what Alzheimer's disease was, the temporal lobe, hippocampus, amygdala, amnesia (not sure about that one but I just added it in =[), organic causes of forgetting just as head trauma (tripping over and bumping your head)
The last question about the air traffic controller and change blindness was difficult. I wrote the controller would experience change blindness if there was some sort of visual disruption. My example was so silly, I was in panic mode when I saw that there was only 15 minutes left. "Eg. When the flashing dots are briefly outside the radar, the controller cannot see the location of the air craft, therefore the change had caused blindness."
I spoke to my teacher after the exam, he said it would be if the controller blinked. Wordy questions that only require simple responses caught me off guard. =[
