Get the fuck out of your house and drink some beer lieutenant. If you don't you'll look back at the end of the year and go 'fuck, where did one of the best years of my life go?'. Sure, you might get a slightly better ATAR score or end up at a slightly better uni if you spend your nights lurking VCE forums, but you'll miss out on so much action. You'll miss out on alcohol and on dancing and on food and on making a complete fool of yourself and on girls and on mates. Then next year when you go out to clubs and bars you won't have any idea what drink to buy a girl or what the fk someone means when they invite you to Eurotrash (yes, I thought it was an insult too the first time... there was an awkward pause).

I'm not saying throw away all of the freakin' vce, but put it in perspective man. It matters very little in your life. Having a fun time matters a lot more. Sure as hell tone it down the days before exams, one would be foolish not to, but in the meantime you should be making as much of this year as you possibly can.

I don't mean to single you out specifically lieutenant, but there's a lot of people who are in your exact position who need to get out of a rut and have some fun.

That said, chris, that definition of fun doesn't sit for everyone

party all you want but no alcohol as this increases your likelihood of getting cancer.

...from what I've heard the 90+ achievers are usually those who party the hardest. ;)

It's a correlational relationship only so far, having a few beers now and again would be pretty insignificant one would think

Sure, but everyone needs something to clean out their systems. Some people do sport too. I can see how sport would provide the same escape. but imo, if you can't feel it the next day it's probably not going to work.

Whatever method of fun you prefer, go do it (try to not kill yourself with all that alcohol)
I have a SAC in two weeks, but that's for later, right now, no work for me :)
